Clever, a real estate data company, just released new research that named Philadelphia the fourth-best beer city in America. Certainly, we believe that Philadelphia is the BEST beer city in America, but who can argue with actual data?
They looked at the 50 most populous metro areas in the U.S. and compared their:
– Number of breweries
– Density of breweries per 100 square miles
– Number of beers per brewery
– Number of beer styles per brewery
Weighted together, Philadelphia is among the best cities for beer. Here’s how it broke down:
