Philadelphia Zoo’s Annual Summer Ale Festival

Tickets are now on sale for Philadelphia Zoo’s Summer Ale Festival, a sensational summer event happening throughout the Zoo’s gardens.

The fun takes place on Saturday, June 24th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Meet brewers, enjoy ice cold, full-bodied beverages and purchase fresh, local fare from the region’s hippest food trucks. Live music, amazing animals and a complimentary shuttle from 30th Street Station are all included in this once-a-year experience.

With an impressive crop of regional craft brews, Philadelphia Zoo has much to offer beer enthusiasts. This year, more than 70 renowned breweries will participate, offering guests more than 140 award-winning seasonal ales and selections of the brewers’ choice. In addition to delicious craft brews guests will enjoy live music from: The Kickbax Band, Hannah Taylor & the Rekardo Lee Trio, River Bones and talented DJ’s.

Summer Ale Festival returns for another year of specialty brews, animals, live entertainment, games and more.  In addition to offering a night of fun and memories for adults only at one of Philly’s top cultural attractions, Summer Ale Festival serves as a fundraiser and supports Philadelphia Zoo in its mission to create joyful discovery and inspire action for animals and habitats.

Summer Ale Fest is limited to those 21 years of age or older with valid identification. Tickets are available exclusively through www.PhiladelphiaZoo.org and will not be available for purchase at the door. Taps will be closed 30 minutes prior to event end. The list of participating breweries is subject to change. This is a rain or shine event.
