Cotoletta Rustic Italian BYOB Grand Opening in Belmont Hills

Cotoletta Rustic Italian BYOB in Belmont Hills

Since quietly opening the doors to Cotoletta BYOB last January, chef/owner Beth Amadio has been honing her menu and putting final touches on the completely renovated interior of the former Mel’s Italian on the Hill.

Cotoletta (Italian for cutlet or chop) is a throwback to old world Italian dishes using the freshest seasonal ingredients. The look and feel of the dining room is modern, urban and rustic, with bold colors and seasonal Sunflowers and Gerber Daisies that brighten the room.

Guests can enjoy their favorite bottle of wine with no corkage fee. Look for brunch to start in June. All major credit cards will be accepted. Ordering To-Go is also available.

The menu delivers fresh seafood, homemade Italian comfort food and sustainable specials featuring seasonal and local produce. Menu items and special appetizers include:

Grilled Artichoke with Roasted Peppers and Parmigiano Reggiano ($14)

Beth adjusts the menu to suit the seasons. She follows nature and how its bounty is intended. This ensures that everything is made with the most flavorful ingredients. The produce is local and her butcher delivers a special combination of ground beef, veal and pork for her famous meatballs on a daily basis.

There is complimentary valet parking. Street parking is also available.

Reservations can be made by calling 610-660-5224 or via OpenTable. View the full menu below:
