Philadelphia Zoo to Host Annual Summer Ale Festival on July 25

On Saturday, July 25 from 6:30-10:00pm, Philadelphia Zoo will host Summer Ale Fest, an evening filled with regional craft beers and delicious food for purchase from local food truck vendors. An annual favorite, and adults-only experience, Summer Ale Festival combines exceptional food, drink and live music with brilliantly colored birds, majestic great apes, astonishing big cats and other wildlife that call America’s first zoo home.

“Summer Ale Festival is an event that guests to look forward to each summer,” says Amy Shearer, Philadelphia Zoo’s Chief Marketing Officer. “There is something at the Zoo for guests of all ages, and this is our way of offering adults an exclusive experience and opportunity to get up close with our animal collection, taste incredible food and ale, listen to music and have a great time among friends.”

All tickets include unlimited beer samples, a souvenir tasting cup, on-site parking and shuttle service to and from 30th Street Station. This event is limited to those 21 years of age or older only with valid identification.
