Now is the time to soak up the remaining days of summer. Whether you’re celebrating Labor Day at the beach, at a barbecue or pool party, these light cocktail recipes will keep you cool and refreshed.

Priaire Organic Cucumber

Prairie Organic Cucumber Garden Fresh Mule

  • 1 oz Prairie Organic Cucumber Vodka

  • 2 oz Stoli ginger beer

  • Splash of Daily’s lime juice

Combine all ingredients in a copper mug or a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with fresh-cut jalapeños and lime wedge.

Rosemary’s Pear

  • 1 and 3/4 oz organic pear nectar

  • 2 oz Bloom Gin

  • 1 oz rosemary syrup

  • 2 and 1/4 oz Stoli ginger beer

Combine pear nectar, gin and rosemary simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into an iced filled glass. Top with ginger beer and garnish with a rosemary sprig.

 

Rum-Beer Float

  • 1 and ½ oz Calypso Spiced Rum

  • 1 (12 oz) can or bottle of root beer

  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream

Pour root beer into a mug; stir in rum.  Spoon ice cream into root beer mixture; let ice cream melt slightly into the liquid (about five minutes). Enjoy!

 

Bourbon Sour

  • 2 oz Jim Beam Bourbon

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • ½ oz lemon-lime soda

  • ½ tsp sugar

  • 1 each: lemon wedge, cherry

Combine first four ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.  Shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with lemon wedge and cherry.
