Steel City Coffeehouse, located at 203 Bridge Street in Phoenixville, has recently partnered with Chef Jennifer Zavala to upgrade their already amazing menu. If you recall, she is a Top Chef Season 6 Alum, has worked for many Philadelphia restaurants, operates an illegal tamale truck, offers catering and restaurant consulting services.
Here are some of the highlights of the new menu:
-
Watermelon Gazpacho.
-
Baked Goat Cheese (rolled in scallions, tomato and black olives, warmed in the pizza oven and served with garlic toast points).
-
Michaels Savory Seitan “Cheesesteak” Flatbread.
-
A grilled cheese sandwich board with options such as spinach, bacon, avocado, ham and turkey served on Wonderful Good Market’s sourdough bread with a choice of two cheeses (Manchego, Gouda, Gruyere or Provolone).
Steel City Coffeehouse sources locally and supports fellow small businesses. They work with Elizabeth Stoudt of Wonderful Good Market in Adamstown, Beverly’s Pastry Shop in Pottstown and recently with Baba’s Brew in Phoenixville.
Breakfast is available all day and includes a Green Chile Breakfast Burrito, Poached Egg and Potato Breakfast Bowl and a Breakfast Flatbread.
Steel City Coffeehouse is BYOB and is open 7 days a week with complimentary wifi.
