Square 1682 just launched a new three-course “Express Lunch” program, that will guarantee a 45 minutes or less lunch at the popular Rittenhouse Square restaurant. One of the entree items on the new prix fixe lunch menu is a Short Rib Cheesesteak.
Short. Rib. Cheesesteak!
The lunch tray is priced at $19.99 and is available Monday through Friday between 11:30am and 2:30pm.
Executive Chef Bobby Surdam has created a menu that allows patrons to not only experience a full three-course meal, but makes it possible for Center City lunch crowds to enjoy both a delicious and quick lunch as well.
“We know how busy our clientele is so we consistently work to present a menu that’s expedited rather quickly, but is also delicious and complete,” said Chef Bobby. “We want our patrons to leave completely satiated — and still have enough time to make it to their post-lunch meetings.”
Guests will have their choice of a selection of Snacks, including:
-
Bacon Wrapped Dates paired with goat cheese
-
Crispy Calamari tossed in shishito peppers, parsley and cajun remoulade
-
Bowl of Chilled Asparagus Soup
-
Bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup filled with patty pan squash, zucchini and orecchiette
Entrees include:
-
Short Rib Cheesesteak roasted with peppers and onion marmalade
-
Falafel Sandwich smeared with chickpea fritter, chow chow, cucumber yogurt, capers and ciabatta
-
Fried Chicken Sandwich made with spiced buttermilk chicken, smoked applewood bacon, brioche and the house made ranch
-
Square 1682 Burger with Cabot cheddar, onion marmalade, pecanwood smoked bacon
All sandwiches are served with a side of fries, too!
Guests can end their express lunch and satisfy their sweet tooth with a selection of “Sweets” including:
-
Tres Leches Cake caramelized with candied nuts
-
Giant Homemade House Cookie
-
Market Seasonal Creme Brulee
Square 1682’s housemade healthy raw juices ($9), Being Green, Beets Me or Daily Dose, are the perfect pairing to Chef Bobby’s lunch tray.
