Chloe Johnston Experiences Hosts an Evening of Fine Art & Wine

Chloe Johnston Experiences Presents The Painted Grape

On Thursday, September 22 between 6-8 p.m., Chloe Johnston Experiences will host their first ever art and wine event called The Painted Grape at the Pentimenti Gallery in Old City.

This unique, intimate gallery experience will be part history lesson and part ‘meet the artist’ tied together via a delicious and informative wine tasting. Leading you through the night’s program are Vicki Miller of Vinocity, a Philadelphia-based wine education program and art historian Jim Pagliaro.

This innovative art and wine pairing coincides with the gallery’s season-opening exhibit featuring contemporary art by Edgar Diehl and Kevin Finklea.

Modern technology will come into play during the night as well, when Mr. Diehl joins us from Germany for a live Q&A via Skype. He and Mr. Finklea will each offer insights about the inspiration and process behind their works, collectively as complex and bold as the wines you’ll be tasting.

Guests will also sample a variety of artisanal cheeses and light hors d’oeuvres for an enhanced tasting experience. As you sip and savor, learn about the relationship between art and wine through a historic and culinary lens.

They will also have a wine pull raffle to benefit Wings for Success, an organization supported by Chloe Johnston Experiences for its efforts to empower women in need to pursue employment and economic security through apparel, advice, and advocacy.

Tickets can be purchased in advance here.
